Currently, while there are over 13 billion posts and comments on the site and over 100,000 active communities *, all of the communities that a user belongs to can be accessed straight from within the navigation bar without crowding the user’s main homepage. Reddit organizes and constructs information quite beautifully.

I used to think it was just an unnecessary question and answer type of site, somewhat similar to Yahoo Answers, but thankfully, I have really grown to enjoy looking up different topics on Reddit or just exploring the newest posts on my personal dashboard. It’s funny to think that just a few years ago, I had no idea what Reddit really was. Overall though, it’s a great place for sharing different insights, connecting with other Reddit users, and staying updated on topics that are of personal interest. It’s easy to get lost on Reddit many people have gotten into extensive, unnecessarily heated “discussions” on something that has been written on the site. In short, it’s a web forum blown into a large, high performance discussion machine. Reddit is the homebase for an online community open to social news, web content and commentary.
